The Counter is a neighbourhood institution in the heart of Petersham. We serve specialty coffee with rich chocolate notes, fresh seasonal food crafted from locally sourced produce, and the kind of warm welcome that keeps people coming back.

From a classic Eggs Benny or Smashed Avo to our legendary Rueben Royale, Brooklyn Pastrami Burger, house-made Pannacotta Granola, signature cold brews and indulgent smoothies — everything is made with care. We're a community, not just a café.
